Northern Virginia REALTORS® Set Charitable Efforts as a Top Priority
August 8, 2017
Following the tremendous success of their first-ever Community Action Day this spring, the Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS® are seeking new ways to give back to their community. NVAR board chairman Bob Adamson selected charitable efforts as a major priority of the Association. Real-estate firms were asked to contribute to local charities with time, sweat-equity, service, and funding.
Members in at least nine brokerages participated, working with a diverse array of nonprofits. The Arlington office of Century 21 Redwood Realty held a game night fundraiser for the Arc of Northern Virginia, an organization supporting thousands of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arlington office of McEnearney Associates made contributions to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. We applaud the charitable efforts of these Northern Virginia REALTORS®!
