ACCELERATE 2018 Promises Insightful Education from Dynamic Keynote Speakers
May 3, 2018
There’s no question that REALTORS® have to become experts on a wide variety of topics: from marketing, to referral generation, to market trends. To help our members gain valuable information to grow their revenue, Virginia REALTORS® have booked two acclaimed key note speakers for this year’s annual convention: ACCELERATE 2018.
Renowned financial industry expert Ron Insana will be on hand to discuss the likelihood of a major event roiling the financial markets in the near future. Ron’s impressive credentials include hosting the Market Scoreboard Report for radio stations across the country, discussing pressing economic and market issues as a contributor for both CNBC and MSNBC, and writing financial articles for Money Magazine and USA Today. He has authored four books on Wall Street and is a highly regarded lecturer on domestic and global economics, financial markets, and economic policy issues.
At ACCELERATE 2018, Ron’s riveting presentation will explore several different scenarios in which the economy, businesses, and markets could get rocked by unexpected events, including the economy in overdrive, a fight at the Fed, and the potential risk of war.
In addition, famed author and former lead negotiator for the FBI, Chris Voss, will deliver a keynote address on one of the most-requested topics by REALTORS®: the complex art of negotiation. During Chris’s 24-year tenure in the Bureau, he was trained in the art of negotiation by not only the FBI, but also Scotland Yard and Harvard Law School. Chris served the FBI as the lead international kidnapping negotiator, as well as the FBI’s hostage negotiation representative for the National Security Council’s Hostage Working Group. He is author of the popular business book, Never Split the Difference: Negotiating as If Your Life Depended On It.
